Q&A with:

Taylor

Why did you want to be apart of this campaign/photoshoot?

To make me okay with the way I am and the way I feel about myself. I wanted to be okay in the skin I was given and be able to look at these pictures and understand there really is nothing wrong with me.

What would you say is your biggest insecurity and why?

Letting go when I should and realizing I deserve better when I'm given the worst is the biggest struggle I have accepting about myself.

The best descriptive word you’d give yourself and why?

Outgoing is the best way to describe because I'm always stringing up conversations, I love to talk.

When did your body image issues start and how did you know?

My body issues started, when I was fresh out of high school, I just started to find things wrong with my body, I was knit picking everything I could possibly find, but I feel as though it was because I was unhappy as a whole.

Past advice you would give yourself regarding body image or self-love?

The past advice I would give myself is it doesn't matter, the way your body looks, the way people treat you it doesn't matter. Don't stress over what you can't control, if you're not happy leave, do what you need to do to be happy. Learn to love yourself before it's too late, it's about you and what you need to be happy.

What is something you tell yourself when having body image issues?

When I have body images issues I look at myself and tell myself all the things I can do instead of all the things I can't. I look at my body and tell myself how it's changed and the progress I've made instead of cutting myself down.
